Mexican industrial designer Mauricio Romano works for Meta, but keeps his skills sharp with self-directed projects on the side. One such project is this mechanical exploration of clocks that use linkages rather than gears: I know these are just concepts, but I think it would look super cool if the linkages were nearly the same shade as the background. Just barely visible from a color perspective, allowing the clock hands to pop.
