About Me
I am a 22 year old from Pune and have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in User Experience design. My background in computer science has impacted the way I think about a design problem. It helps me be rooted to the realities of implementation. When I am working with fellow designers in a team, I have realised that someone may think of a problem differently than I would. Similarly, I have experienced firsthand that there can be multiple ways a coding problem can be solved, and while I might have thought of a certain way to solve it, someone else might have thought of a different route. It fascinates me to see how the same principle is applicable to two different streams. I believe that there can be ten different ways to think over a design problem, but the only thing limiting us is our mindset at a given moment. A similar application can be seen when a developer has to think of all possible test cases and their possible workarounds. I have thus learnt not be satisfied by one solution only.
