Because of my love for people, joy at their personal and professional success, and unparalleled satisfaction in business transformation, I founded New Canvas Advising. NCA is a dynamic organizational developmental and design boutique advising firm providing personalized client solutions including complimentary tailored evaluations, executive advising, team analytics, and collaborative design sessions. NCA works with companies of all sizes, across all verticals with a specialty in life sciences and healthcare. I have over 26 years organizational design and development experience including over 8 years’ experience in not-for-profit board leadership. I have founded and owned two businesses. I have over 16 years’ experience as a clinical research professional managing Phase I, II, and III federally funded, pharmaceutical, and investigator initiated research trials with over 8 years’ experience managing strategic, high-profile oncology research programs. Ultimately, I transitioned my focus from clinical care to considering patient care through the lens of big data and analytics to improve quality, outcomes, and systems financial health. My career journey has been one of leaders reaching out with a challenge, the problem unknown, and called on me to evaluate and fix as an internal adviser. While envisioning the organizational design and facilitating the change, I guide teams through Tuckman's Five Phases and give them guardrails. They can focus on their success including relationship building and not the process. Sampling of clients include European biotechnology firms, utility company, global supply and logistics company, local and multi-state health systems, multi-site private practice radiology provider, global hazardous waste environmental firm, numerous entrepreneurs and small businesses, as well as advisor to technology and healthcare executives.
