About Me
I’m an Experience Designer and Illustrator skilled in observational research and behavioural studies, telling the user’s story through sketches and storyboards and designing flows and high fidelity prototypes with them in mind. I love all aspects of human behaviour, from the old to the you and the weird to the wonderful and enjoy interacting with users throughout my process. Having experience in education and learning I always try to ensure accessibility is at the forefront of my work and continue to diversify my experiences to boost my own design thinking. Skills: Knowledge of UX theories, techniques methodologies. Comfortable with Agile, Lean UX and Design thinking styles of working. Support Discovery phases by carrying out UX research tasks such as Stakeholder Interviews, Observational studies, Usability Tests, Analytics Reviews and Workshops. Proficient in wireframing, creating storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps using current software and technologies using research and data to inform the designs. Communicating design requirements to the wider project team through Show and Tell and stakeholder meetings. Software proficiency in Adobe CC, Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch. As an additional challenge I spend my spare time as an Associate Lecturer for the Open University on the Design Thinking module. This has allowed me to keep my hand in teaching whilst going back to what I love doing - Design. Being part of this remote team yet striving for the same goals is a challenge and a privilege.
