Smaller things: greener matches, clearer cards, kinder error pages

On Your Recommendations, the topics you share with a mentor are green with a check and the ones you do not share fade to grey, so the reason for the match is visible at a glance. A mentor who is not taking requests is labelled Not accepting requests rather than a word that needed decoding. On a mentor's profile, Verified Mentor is a green pill.

The error pages stopped shouting. Instead of one large Back to Home button and four bare links, a page you cannot reach now offers three ways somewhere useful — mentoring, news and jobs — each saying what is there, with home as a quiet line beneath.

Getting started asks about your career the way the settings page does, in one place, rather than a job title in two boxes that could disagree with your experience list; hundreds of profiles had come to contradict themselves that way. And the mentor application asks for a short bio and two links again, because the review team needs them to say yes.
