News, Events, Critique, and Learning Paths are now in our sitemap โ and richer previews for search and social
A search-visibility audit turned up a real gap: News, Events, Critique, and Learning Paths โ both their list pages and every individual story, event, submission, and path โ were completely absent from our sitemap, alongside a handful of smaller pages. That's now fixed, adding real content (44 pages worth, as of today) that search engines previously had no direct signal existed.
Separately, the homepage and individual event pages now carry structured data (the same behind-the-scenes markup that helps Google show richer results โ think event dates and locations right in search results, or a proper search box under our own listing). This is the kind of change that mostly shows up as a slow, cumulative improvement in how the platform surfaces in search over time, not something dramatic overnight.
Fifth entry in the ongoing pass through the platform's public-facing trust and reliability issues.
