Mentoring has an Inbox of its own

Your mentoring used to live in two places under Settings: a mentor's inbox on one page and the requests you had sent on another, with the conversation tucked behind a button on each. It is one Inbox now, under Mentoring, beside the mentor directory and your recommendations.

It is one list, in sections named for the relationship rather than the direction: Needs your reply, Waiting on a mentor, Current mentees, Current mentors, and Past. You only see the sections you have, so a mentor sees the people who have asked them and a mentee sees the people they have asked, and the rare mentor who has also asked someone sees both without switching anything. Each row reads like a line of email — who, what it is about, when it last moved — and carries a small label saying whose move it is: Waiting for their reply when you spoke last, Replied when they did. Rows stack onto two lines on a phone.

Every request has a page of its own now, and the whole row is the link to it. The page opens with the other person, their picture large and the request's status beside it — Accepted in green — then what was asked and the conversation, always open and building as you write to each other. Mentors accept or decline from the list or from the page; Archive sits at the top right and asks you to confirm, explaining that nothing is deleted and the other person sees no change. The emails and notifications about a request now link straight to its page, and the old Settings addresses still work, with a note saying where things have moved.
