Every dropdown is the same dropdown

Twenty-nine searchable selects across sixteen pages now use one accessible combobox, and the old third-party component is gone.

Degree, topics, languages, time zone, category — the searchable dropdowns across settings, the wizard, the directory, discussions, podcasts and critique used a third-party component with its own look and its own quirks. They are all the same combobox now, built on the design system, with the same keyboard behaviour and a properly named control for screen readers.

Two real bugs went with it: the dropdown's caret had no accessible name, and duplicate options could grow ghost rows in a filtered list.
