Deleting your account now removes all of your activity data too
When you deleted your Designed account, we removed your core profile -- but records of your activity in individual features (career plans, learning progress, critique submissions and feedback, mentor requests, job applications, saved searches, and more) stayed behind in our systems with no owner.
That's fixed. Deleting your account now erases your data across every feature of the platform in the same step, and it's deliberately strict about it: if any part of that cleanup fails, your account is NOT deleted and you're asked to try again -- we'd rather have you retry than silently leave your data orphaned behind a deleted account.
A few narrow things are kept or handled differently, on purpose: reports you filed about content or listings stay (they're part of our abuse-prevention records), and a job listing you posted publicly stays up for the community but is disconnected from you entirely.
