About Me

I have over 9 years of experience in UX design in both mobile and desktop platforms. I am an also a part-time web development instructor at the Academy or Art University. I am fluent is a wide range of design skills. I have the mindset of a designer, the logic of an engineer, and the ability to openly communicate with major product owners, technical teams and managers. I have an endless passion for learning and exploring untested design patterns, interaction models, and emerging technologies. What I enjoy most about UX is the fact that every day poses new challenges. That is one thing that stays consistent in this field, the need to learn. You have to be proactive and passionate about UX in order to provide the best experiences to your users. Often times this comes in the form of breaking habits, learning new patterns, forgetting old patterns, and thinking outside the box. My goal is always to create beautiful interfaces that just fade into the background, letting superb UX and information architecture lead the user. I apply user-centered research & design principles that meet or exceed user expectations. This is achieved by research driven design, business requirements, technical specifications, and best use practices. My design style is clean and intuitive. I have huge passion in creating interactive visual experiences that keep the end user hooked both visually, and interactively. I design rich interfaces that work in harmony with superb UX & information architecture, resulting in highly immersive experiences. Design is as much about behavior and emotion as it is about utility and ease of use.
