About Me

Hello. I’m currently looking for the next opportunity, but I’m not sure how to proceed. I’ve worked in pharmaceutical advertising doing both print production and digital production for banners, emails, and interactive PDFs. My other roles have included retouching and illustration for pitches and concepts. I’ve done graphic design for K-12 textbooks and various collateral pieces. One of my most important skills has been coordinating with all of the stakeholders in other departments. This involves finding problems, asking lots of questions, and helping to create a consensus. In recent years, I’ve expanded into other areas like motion graphics and t-shirt design. It’s great to use powerful tools like After Effects and Premiere to craft a video narrative. The process can start with mood boards and continues with loose story boards before getting more detailed. I’ve written scripts, selected music, and performed the voice-over for personal projects. My t-shirt and gift item designs go through similar steps. The initial idea is followed by research and image gathering for the mood board. This mood board is a source of imagery and a color palette. Then the design is crafted from there. Every design post has a full description and tags.
