About Me

Hello, I am so excited to work with a mentor! Thank you for all you do! I am a self-directed learner of graphic design, specifically web design, in my 3rd year of study at my own pace. My first year, I focused on studying Adobe programs, with a year-long course. My second year, I focused on studying branding, Squarespace, and business. This year, I am focused on design itself, design process, and learning more programs (Figma already, and soon Webflow and possibly Wordpress, and Automation programs). I am providing a free website for a friend, and in May will begin a second one - as a kind of "internship" for myself, if I could call it that. July-September, I will focus on creating my own website and portfolio, and if I have time, will begin an Instagram page (for regular design practice and marketing). Ongoing, I do have a business mentor, who is supporting me in preparing for myweb design business launch date, which I am hoping I will be ready for by about September 18th of this year. I feel a design mentor would be very supportive in providing feedback, and in finding solutions all those things that are not taught in classes, that fall through the cracks, that really support a thriving business. I have included my present website in this profile, but it is not published, and is not complete or up to date. Just to reiterate, I do not have a portfolio at this time. Thank you.
