About Me
Hello, my name is Noshaba Jawed, and I am a passionate UI/UX designer. I recently completed an apprenticeship program in UI/UX Design at the Institute of Emerging Careers, and I also took a UX design course on Coursera to further enhance my skills. Previously, I worked as an Etsy virtual assistant, where I successfully launched multiple Etsy businesses from scratch for my clients. However, due to the instability of that career path, I started exploring other skills and discovered my deep interest in UI/UX design. I am now determined to build a successful career as a product designer in the UI/UX field. Despite actively searching for a job as a junior UI/UX designer for the past four months, I haven't been able to secure a position yet. I have shared my portfolio with developers and designers who have praised my work and believe I have the potential to succeed. However, I am unsure about the specific areas where I may be lacking, which could be hindering my job prospects. Therefore, I am seeking mentorship to help me navigate my career path and make the right decisions to achieve my goals. I believe a mentor can guide me in identifying and improving any weaknesses or gaps in my skills and knowledge.
