About Me

I’m Michelle, a product designer with a master’s degree in UX design and a unique career journey. My background spans 20+ years in design, communications, and corporate marketing for B2B and B2C industries. I’ve honed my creative skills through multiple visual and digital design methods. For the past two years, I’ve focused on end-to-end UX in the pharmaceutical software sector at an enterprise level. I excel at identifying and resolving user pain points, encompassing research, early-stage wireframing, UX project management, and quality assurance to enhance user workflows effectively. During my time with Sonoco Packaging, curiosity about internal users’ issues with our new corporate website led to research and introduced me to user experience. I had the opportunity to spearhead the UX Research effort with colleagues from around the globe. One notable project I led at ArisGlobal involved revamping the user interface of a complex pharmaceutical data management system. Through in-depth user research and iterative testing, the goal was to implement a more intuitive design, reduce user errors by 30% and improve overall user satisfaction. I am actively seeking a Product Designer role with a strong focus on UX strategy, research, and user testing. Team dynamics and a real focus on the users are crucial for my next role.
