About Me

Hello, I'm Montse and I'm part of who I am. I started my studies in Construction Engineering, but I felt that I was missing something. Curious and attracted by aesthetics and therefore design and culture, I continued my career delving into interior design and ephemeral architecture. Later I wanted to respond to my first interests in psychology and pedagogy, so I did a Master's in Education. I founded my own company dedicated to construction and renovations, where we go through the entire process, from the design sketches in the studio, the color palette, the mood board, the furniture, the lighting, ... to the final execution. After 10 years leading a team of 9 people, counting office and construction workers, I decided to refresh and expand my knowledge again with something that I could say is the perfect combination between my two passions, psychology (or now I'd better say neuroscience) and architecture. After my Postgraduate degree in Neuroarchitecture, I am in a position to practice my career from a different perspective, with a scientific foundation that reinforces the belief that architecture must be nourished by other disciplines, as in its beginnings, where architects were also scientists, artists, philosophers and more. I now understand better the impact that space can create in us if adressed, that the whole is more than the sum of its parts, and most important, that we need to place human beings at the center of our designs again.
