About Me

Hi! I’m Kaity Kim, a UX/UI Designer with a penchant for a good story. I’m excited to create moments of joy that simply “make sense”. The heart of my journey has always been about the human experience and discovering "what makes us tick". My curiosity started with biology which led me to appreciate how people have come together to heal and help. But I always had a hunger for design, even becoming a graphic designer for various university clubs. I wanted to find a way where I could stand at the intersection of visual design, research, and elevating the human experience. I found my answer in UX design where aesthetics, empathy, and data combine together to become something amazing. Thanks to my diverse background in both medical research and social media marketing, I developed a knack for asking good questions, solving problems, and bringing people together. I married these qualities with my love for visual design and found myself transitioning to UX/UI design. I’m excited to use my creativity to build user-friendly and visually pleasing experiences that “make sense” for all kinds of users.
