About Me
My name is Harsh and I'm a multi-disciplinary designer from India with two years of experience. While studying for my Bachelors in Technology (IT), I co-founded a design agency with a group of friends. We provided branding and design related services to small brands and some big YouTubers. It was during this time that I discovered product design when a client requested we design their website and assets for their app. This was a significant turning point for me, as I realised how different and challenging product design can be. Through many big and small failures, I learned the importance of designing for the user rather than myself or the client. Unfortunately, my design agency didn't survive the COVID pandemic. After that, I decided to pursue product design as a full-time career. I've been working as a founding designer at YC-backed fintech startup for over two years now. I've mostly learned the intricacies of design thinking, product psychology and UX through self-teaching or learning from my own mistakes. I believe that having a mentor a valuable asset in my career development as a product designer. Their guidance and feedback would help me learn much more than I could on my own.
