About Me

I am an Industrial Designer and Conceptual Artist, specializing in creative design solutions. I am also a Type One Technology Researcher, accepted in the Industrial Design Product and Transportation program at the Art Center College of Design 1987. I currently am a science fiction author. My work is titled, 'The OffWorld Man Anthology. www.amazon.ca/OFFWORLD-MAN-ANTHOLOGY-COMPLETE-MANUSCRIPTS-ebook/dp/B09QJ9XHQV My portfolio site is www.coroflot.com/GeneKWalker In the industrial design themed novella series, The Off-World Man Anthology: A Gordon Marcus Parks Novel, I predict near-future product and transportation, what I term artifacts of the future. I placed the storyline a mere 30 to 40 years into the future, knowing full well that many of the concepts may not be available to the everyday consumer for at least 100 years. The book is literally my Industrial Design Engineering portfolio, with a fictional world created to encompass and describe it. By imagining the future through science fiction, we can step in, make change and actively play a role in shaping our reality. With every future we wish to create, we must first learn to imagine it. Imagination indeed, shapes the world. The greatest value of science fiction is not providing answers but raising questions. --Chen Qiufan
