About Me
I’m seeking advice on how to make the most of my skills, passions, and design thinking to work toward my long-term ambitions in the design industry. My journey as an industrial designer has shaped me into a detail-oriented creative, with a fascination for colour, materials and upstream design strategy. I’ve been lucky to feel so connected to industrial design since I discovered my calling at 13. That passion guided me through years of study, culminating in a BA (Hons) in Product Design in 2022. As someone with dyslexia, the academic side wasn’t always easy, but it pushed me to lean into my visual strengths and approach challenges with a unique perspective. I was determined to thrive, which led me to a role as a Colour & Materials Designer at Jaguar Land Rover after graduating. In 2024 I left JLR and pursued some creative projects on my own. My long-term goal is to start my own design studio— which I recognise is a bold dream for someone with my level of experience. But I’m eager to learn how to best develop my skills and lay the foundation for those future aspirations. Any advice or guidance would be incredibly appreciated.
