About Me
Greetings! I'm Desislava, a UX/UI designer in training who's on a mission to make the digital world a little less frustrating and a lot more delightful, but also looking for mentor to guide me on that journey. When I'm not busy trying to perfect my design skills, you can usually find me stalking building with my phone and taking tone of pictures. Before getting into design, I gained invaluable experience in entrepreneurship and I was general manager in the retail industry for five fruitful years. Seeking fresh challenges, I then took a bold step and moved to Scotland, where I challenged myself by entering hospitality industry and practice further more my communication skills as an assistant manager for three exciting years. Also I have gained valuable experience in the event industry, with a focus on conceptual brand events and weddings. I'm someone who holds human rights dear to my heart, and I took advantage of the pandemic's downtime to further broaden my knowledge in this area by enrolling in a prestigious course at Stanford University. It was an incredible opportunity to grow and learn during a challenging time. Presently, I'm residing in sunny Spain, where I channel my free time towards my love for architecture photography or mastering the design field. I enjoy capturing the essence of stunning buildings and tend to get carried away during the editing process.
