About Me
I am all about learning new perspectives and putting them into practice with a key regard to create better "User Experiences". Here's a small story of how I landed into UX design - While I was happily working as a French linguist, the pandemic of Covid-19 hit us in March 2020 changing our lives in various ways. I never had interacted with so many digital interfaces (consumer websites, e-learning modules, gaming websites) as I did during the pandemic, the journey of reaching the end goal was time-consuming. For instance, while I was shopping on a grocery website, I ended up ordering wrong items due to the information not being presented clearly (meta-data). This experience inspired me to pursue my graduate degree majoring Digital Media Design for Learning at NYU Steinhardt. Through my current work projects, I continue to explore human-centered design through various lenses - cognitive sciences, learning sciences, design thinking and user research. Coming from a diversified background in engineering, pedagogy and linguistics (French language) in the past, I have a fair amount of technical knowledge and exposure of working in cross-cultural settings. The most important takeaway from my innumerable experiences is - “Sky's the limit, so keep pushing yourself.” My goal : combine my current UX studies with my prior expertise to design meaningful digital interactions for its targeted users.
