About Me
Hi I am Breana Peters, a creative who loves bringing vision to life, identity to brands and experiences to people. After obtaining my bachelor's in Spanish from Georgia State University in 2018, I worked in the education and service industry for over 5 years. Recently, I pivoted into tech through front-end development where I learned how to thoroughly code. From coding, I noticed that I was more passionate about how people would interact with what I was building vs just getting my code to work. After gaining valuable industry knowledge, I realized that my niche was at the intersection of designing and product development. Currently I am a middle and high school ESOL teacher at Drew Charter School. In this role, I instruct and support Spanish speaking students who do not speak English as their first language. I am also a site coordinator for Tech Corps where I direct the day to day operations of STEAM activities and supervise support staff to delegate assignments and evaluate performances. Although I come from a non-traditional tech background, My experience designing curriculum for students has inspired me to build products for everyone.
