About Me
Hello there. I'm a recovering financial advisor turned UX designer. I utilize my background in Wealth Management and Sales to empathize with my users and create meaningful experiences. My goal as a UX designer is to create intuitive digital solutions to meet the needs of our modern world. I believe design should guide and get out of the way. Why UX? I worked in finance for thirteen years as a wealth manager and two years in commercial real estate. However, I've always flourished when allowed to express my creative side. While I did have opportunities to be creative in my prior roles, they were confined to individual projects outside the scope of my day-to-day job. I came to realize that I did not feel fulfilled. I wanted a career where I could express my creativity, apply my critical thinking, and be constantly curious while continuing to leverage my empathy for clients. After talking to friends, colleagues, and numerous days going down internet rabbit holes I discovered UX Design and immediately fell in love.
