Critique tells you when it can't load

A briefly unreachable Critique feed used to render as if nobody had ever submitted work. An outage now looks like an outage.

If the Critique feed was briefly unreachable, the page filled the silence with the wrong message: it looked like nobody in the community had ever submitted anything.

That was never true — it was our error dressed up as an empty page. When the feed cannot load now, it says so and asks you to try again, and your community's work is never misrepresented as missing.
