Archive notifications you're done with

Your notifications feed is a to-do list as much as a log, and a to-do list needs a way to file things away. Hover any notification — announcements from us, mentorship updates, feedback, all of them — and an Archive control appears in the corner. On a phone it's simply there.

Archiving removes the notification from your feed, and archiving something you hadn't opened also marks it read, so the count on the bell always matches what you can actually see. Archived is filed away, not deleted.
