About Me
I spent years conducting academic research in the social sciences and went to General Assembly for their UX Design Immersive program and it changed my life. Now I've combined those two passions into a career as a UX Researcher at Walgreens and want to help people thinking about moving into UX. Using my UX skills, a master’s degree in social psychology, years of research experience, combined with deep understanding of how to start and operate a business, I bring a unique and multifaceted approach to solving complex design problems. I believe that what sets apart a great product from a good product is the quality of their design. As a UX designer, I relentlessly seek out the perfect design for a particular product: one that elegantly combines the wants of the user with the needs of the business. For 8 years I designed and evaluated social programs that helped people with disabilities start their own businesses and vulnerable students succeed both in and out of school. After the successful completion of my last grant-funded program, I decided to expand my skills by pursuing UX design at General Assembly.
