About Me
An architecture student turns to web design to make an extra buck during college. My then mentors guided me to Interaction Design to best use my skillsets and interests. 7 Years, 6 Jobs, 500 Coffees, and 100+ design horror stories later, I feel I should share them with the next gen of UX designers. Krishna is a UX designer and researcher with more than 7 years of experience working with start-ups and industry leaders. His projects fall across a wide spectrum of disciplines including interactive spaces, tangible interaction design, screen-based media, and conversational interfaces. With a unified approach to design, he tries to come up with effective solutions to enhance the basic human need for a delightful experience. With an extensive interest in research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative, Krishna's design decisions are driven by data. To explore the breadth of interaction design, he pursued and graduated from his MFA in Interaction Design at the California College of the Arts. During the program at the CCA, he tried to blend in his experience of Architecture and knowledge of Interaction Design to create a better relationship between virtual space and the physical space around us. Along with his interest in tangible interactions, he is also working extensively on the web and mobile platforms to create seamless experiences. Being a fast moving designer he is particular about prototyping techniques which help make his interaction with users, developers and product managers that much easier and enjoyable. He is keen to partner with teams which belief in design as a superpower for innovation. To know more, please have a look at his work at http://www.krishnasistla.com/
