About Me
👋 Hi there I'm Milan — Founder and Design Director at Vetti Design Studio, based in Ahmedabad, India. Over the past 12+ years, I've worked across UI/UX design, brand identity, and product design for B2B SaaS, AI products, FinTech, and e-commerce. My path into design was anything but conventional. I grew up in a small farming village near Gir Forest in Gujarat. I dropped out of an engineering diploma because I couldn't keep up with English classes, spent six months grazing cattle back home, and then moved to Ahmedabad at 17 to learn tailoring — working long hours in a small shop for three years. A friend introduced me to design in 2015, and my father scraped together ₹50,000 as a last chance. I walked into my first class without ever having used a computer. That background taught me something no design school could: how to figure things out when nobody is handing you a roadmap. I bring that same energy to mentoring. I don't believe in gatekeeping — if you're hungry to learn and willing to put in the work, your background doesn't define your ceiling. I'm here to help you navigate the messy, real parts of building a design career — whether that's learning to think in systems, landing your first product design role, building a portfolio that actually gets callbacks, or understanding how to position yourself in a competitive market.
