I've been a UX designer for over 18 years, have a background in graphic design. I love product design because it prioritizes function over style: the best UX designs become more or less invisible to the user. I like to work in teams, am comfortable managing projects and their stakeholders and have a good bedside manner. I can think laterally, ask stupid questions no one else wants to, crave difficult problems to solve and complex things to simplify.
