I'm Joseph - a designer, educator & intrapreneur. Currently I'm working as an Experience Design Manager @ NTUC Income Digital Transformation Office. Joseph Louis Tan is a product & design leader, design educator, start-up mentor & career coach, who is passionate about impacting lives for a better future. He helps individuals & organisations simplify complexities & facilitate transformation to unlock their latent potentials to serve more. Currently, Joseph is the Head of Product at ContactOut, a recruitment, sales & marketing intelligence & engagement platform, on a mission to make cold outreach warm again. Previously, Joseph was an Experience Design Manager at NTUC Income Digital Transformation Office, reimagining the future of digital insurance by building a culture of innovation across the organisation. He was also an Employee Journey Design Coach at DBS Bank, redefining the future of work & employee experience through culture transformation & change management. In 2016, Joseph co-founded & co-led etc.lab, an interdisciplinary design centre for social impact. He has previously taught design thinking & industrial design at NP, NYP & ITE, as well as spoken at SHRI, IBF, TechHR, Pecha Kucha & General Assembly. On the side, Joseph lectures on design at Nanyang Technological University & CuriousCore, as well as mentors & coaches the next generation of product designers on their career growth & development.
